OUR MISSION

To organize and sponsor through fundraising for the annual Independence Day parade and related community events in the Village of Southampton, New York, to promote civic pride, patriotism, and community engagement. The annual 4th of July Parade in the Village of Southampton is over a 100 years and the creation of the 501 (c) (3) will support the parade through fundraising, grants and sponsorship.

OUR HISTORY

The 4th of July Parade Committee proudly serves the Town of Southampton and the Village of Southampton by organizing a celebration that honors all American fought wars and the brave men and women who have defended our nation—past and present.
We are devoted to fostering a family-centered, inclusive event that encourages participation, volunteerism, and community unity while recognizing the dedication of our veterans and active military service members.

A Tradition Since 1920

Established over a century ago, the Southampton Village Parade is one of the oldest and largest Independence Day parades on Long Island.

An Historic Walk

The parade route begins at Railroad Plaza, down North Main Street to Main Street and Jobs Lane. The parade ends at the review stand by Monument Square at Agawam Park.
For 105 years, we have been the proud stewards of the Southampton Village Independence Day Parade. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN #41-4079160), our mission is to preserve this historic community tradition for generations to come.
